LCCC Congratulates Krystal Goodner!

Krystal Goodner is a powerful voice! You may know her as “Miss Krystal”, the radio personality that came into your car, kitchen, and even your office to uplift and encourage over the past several years.
Whether it’s on the radio or in person, Miss Krystal lives a life committed to making a difference. She has done that at Louisville Central Community Centers for the past year.
Krystal has served as a Community Impact Ambassador (CIA) for the Russell Neighborhood Capacity Building Project at LCCC through the Volunteers In Service To America (VISTA) program. VISTAs are deployed across the country to work with non-profit organizations to build capacity and impact community services and access under a one year agreement.
Miss Krystal has influenced the work at LCCC in many ways; some of which include the creation of a collaborative relationship with the faith community to support our adult GED program, setting the framework for the radio show, “Russell On The Move!”, to share and connect the work of LCCC and other organizations in the community, and publishing the monthly newsletter that tells the story of LCCC’s mission in action every day.
We cannot thank Krystal enough for her humility, service, and true commitment to creating equitable and thriving communities. As Krystal’s service concludes, we wish her all the best in her new position as Director of Public Relations and Marketing at Simmons College of Kentucky. And although her service has ended, we know that she will continue to serve. Congratulations and thank you, Miss Krystal!
